How Does It Work

When the water comes in contact with the media filament inside the fabric pouch, the chlorine & Chloramine ions in the water are converted into a harmless zinc chloride. The toxic effects of chlorine or chloramines and there gass are eliminated with the aid of the special media. More chlorine is removed quickly when the Crystal Ball® is circulated through the water. The quartz crystals, from which it derives its name, mixed with the media to reduce the molecular structure of water into smaller clusters, thereby allowing enhanced sudsing and lathering of your soap and protecting your skin from harmful Chlorine.

The American Chemical Society estimates that "Householders could be receiving from 16 to 100 times more of the chlorine chemical by breathing the air around baths and showers... than they would by drinking the same amount of water". Chlorine chemically bonds with the proteins in our body's cells. Skin is our body's largest organ and entirely chlorine absorbent. Also, chlorine is vaporized in Hot or Warm water and inhaled into the lungs where it is transferred directly into the blood system and transported throughout the body, possible causing more harm.
