Cool Works® unit was the old manufacture of these coolers and was sold to another company. The units have been re-disgned and are much better than the Cool Works units where. The ValueChill is manufactured by US Company and has a one year warranty on the overall unit including the cooling fans.

Electrical: Standard 110 VAC UL listed, with a separate 12VDC power supply supplyes low voltage to the cooling unit thus preventing any porblems. The power usage of this unit is about the same as a 60 watt light bulb.
